Except when it comes to story in their games, I think the gameplay is excellent already that you don't need to pursue the story to have a good time, but it's there if you want it. I don't understand why some people think it's fun to go to forums about things they dislike and write trash like you do. This makes the game unplayable with the aforementioned controllers. It’s better on the PS4 for HDR if you own a real HDR tv, not a HDR tv of 800 Dollars. Zelda Breath of the Wild “works” because it does not have that high requirement to begin with and relies on a style that is not ment to be realistic, Doom and Wolfenstein works because they are not open-world and easier to optimize for. Dishonored runs fine on my Xbox 360 and would be no more taxing than Skyrim, not to mention DOOM. @onex You haven't even played Horizon Zero Dawn or God of War!

PS4 games are generally built to be visual novels in high res sandboxes with a low level of difficulty to mask a slightly iffy control system, where Switch and Nintendo as a whole is about the core gameplay mechanics with tight as hotpants controls to take on various levels of difficulty from kid friendly all the way into twitch gaming button presses, but with a work around making too much issue over story and dialogue (due to it being a Japanese product for the rest of the world), and more economical graphics. It wouldn't be fair to say one had the superior story. and there are so many more gems like this on PC.
