I do not write reviews very often, and I have read a TON of wrestling autobiographies from superstars of today (Hardy Boys, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, William Regal, Bret Hart many more) to old school wrestling autobiographies (Wrestling at the Chase, Superstar Billy Graham, Fred Blassie, Jerry Lawler, Dynamite Kid, Lou Thesz, many more) You get the point.
Judging from the other reviews, I wasn't too sure what to expect from this book, and I must admit that I found myself pleasantly suprised. Just a very enjoyable book from a magical era! I was way off! It gives a lot of insight on the life of Jerry Jarrett and even the part about him running the WWF for awhile something I never knew. This is a journal of Jerry Jarrett, his son Jeff, and the process of starting a wrestling company. At times he seems humble while arrogant at other times. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. Love the Jarrett family and I love Memphis wrestling stories!

When I first saw this book, I thought it would be a typical wrestling book.
It originally came out in 2004 and is a detailed look at how Jerry created TNA.

Most wrestling books like Flair's and Russo's, whilst they're interesting reads and worth reading in their own right, do come off as being kind of full of sh-t when it comes to certain people or aspects of their careers that they just bury outright for no real reason other than ego. If you enjoy wrestling personality autobiographies, I'd recommend this book. I literally grew up in this unique world of professional wrestling.
