Don’t worry multiplayer fans, Season 5 isn’t all about Warzone. Season 4 will introduce new maps and modes to Modern Warfare and likely have some big changes to Warzone as well, including possibly the rumored zombies that Blackout had, though I wouldn’t be surprised if these came in Season 5 instead (if at all).

Here’s a rundown of the Season 4 Battle Pass. I will happily support this much more consumer-friendly model.

Interestingly, the Season 4 update coincides perfectly with tomorrow’s big PS5 event which I take to mean we’ll see the reveal of Call Of Duty 2020 tomorrow—likely just called Call Of Duty: Black Ops, and set in the Cold War.

Of course, whether you feel like spending money on completely optional content is another thing—but at least this revenue model let’s people choose what they buy instead of loot boxes and all the maps are free instead of part of paid DLC.
