The end of a seven-season comedy about people trying to do good in the world feels like a small tragedy. Watching how positive he was always sparked some postivity inside myself.
While this final season has... sharpened its satire of our dependence on technological connection over human interaction, the most blatant social commentary that could be mined from Parks and Recreation is just how blissful that human interaction can be. Given that sentimentality is never too far from the surface in this fabulous show, this could have tipped over too far in that direction, but credit to writers and cast, the bitter-sweet end is handled brilliantly so we leave the show happy it exists rather than sad we will not get more. It was back on form and such a great season to call time on the characters. She is more of a role model to young girls than most other shows, because Amy's character is more realistic and she can think for herself. You will never feel as positive, happy entertained as you do watching this programme - absolutely charming and addictive. I vote YES !

The whole cast are sensational and the writing brilliant. Leslie and Ben have a sneaking suspicion that Gryzzl is invading the privacy of Pawnee residents; April conducts a meeting with the new Parks and Rec interns; and Tom advises Andy about renegotiating a contract.
Leslie is now the Midwest Regional Parks Director, with April and Andy---who has his own TV show---reporting to her. The mockumentary revolves around the Parks Department of Pawnee, a fictional town in Indiana, led by the relentlessly perky and overbearing Leslie Knope, played by the brilliant Saturday Night Live Alumni and Tina Fey’s comedy comrade Amy Poehler. Leslie and Ben come under fire for participating in an old Pawnee tradition.

I was sad to watch the last season of parks and rec and it might not have been quite as good as the previous seasons but it still went out on a high. It’s a truly special show and there’s no doubt in my mind that you will cry when it’s over, just like I did. Leslie's team tries to strengthen her case that the Newport land should be turned into a National Park.
